Providing a Wide Array of Diagnostic and Treatment Services
Services include social assessments, psychological evaluations, therapeutic recreational services, medical and dental examinations and treatment, preparation for adult living skills, nutritional services, psychopharmacological treatment, after-care services and group, individual and family counseling. The Treehouse’s interdisciplinary team will participate in planning an individual course of action for each child.
A residential training program is essential to the development and positive self-esteem for many of our resident’s developmental disabilities. Household chores such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping are included in this program. In addition, money management and various incentive programs are available to promote overall positive change.
The Treehouse Center is an inpatient facility where girls 5 to 14 may reside and we provide:
24-Hour intensive treatment
25 beds for the specialized, or moderate intense level of care
Therapeutic care for girls ages 5-14 from staff trained in behavioral interventions, first aid, anger management, therapeutic interventions and child development
A range of services including individual and group therapy
Socialization and recreational therapeutic approaches
Therapeutic programs structured to the individual’s needs
Educational services provided by Conroe Independent School District

The girls arriving at The Treehouse Center have problems trusting others and they do not have the skills to voice their emotions appropriately or treat others properly. We are providing an environment to build trust, offer consistency and model the same behavior code that children should have and understand.
